Triunfo de Equidad en su segundo partido de pretemporada en territorio Ecuatoriano.

El equipo «Asegurador» salió victorioso 1-0 ante Universidad Católica de Ecuador, en su segundo partido de pretemporada en Quito, luego de empatar el día sábado a un gol frente al Nacional de este mismo país, con gol del delantero debutante Arbey Mosquera.

El encuentro de esta noche no tuvo mayores opciones en el primer tiempo para el equipo capitalino, más, sin embargo, el arquero Esteban Ruiz tuvo protagonismo, ya que al minuto 35′ atajo penal, haciéndose inmenso en su especialidad de atajador de penales bajo los tres palos de la valla «Aseguradora», y saliendo figura de la primera parte.

El segundo tiempo empezó con La Equidad arremetiendo contra el cuadro ecuatoriano con remates de larga distancia de Brayner de Alba que pasaban con peligro al arco, pero no podían llegar al gol. Católica respondió con ataques, los cuales fueron controlados por el golero Esteban Ruiz quien se hacía más figura en el partido. Al minuto 32′ llego el gol para el equipo Bogotano a través de su delantero Carlos Peralta que vuelve al gol luego de una larga lesión y poniendo a los «Aseguradores» arriba en el marcador y logrando su primera victoria en 2018.

La formación de los «Aseguradores» inicialmente fue con; Esteban Ruiz, Walmer Pacheco, Jhon García, Miguel Herrera, Amaury Torralvo, Daniel Padilla, David Camacho, Brayner de Alba, Carlos Peralta, Mariano Vásquez y Arbey Mosquera.

En el banco de suplentes estuvieron, Cristian Bonilla, Fabian Vargas, Francisco Nájera, Jeider Riquett, Andrés Correa, Alejandro Mahecha, Stalin Motta, Matheo Gómez y Diego Valoyes.

En este partido el profe Suarez probo con una nueva formación con respecto a la que jugo el día sábado, y puso en la titular a los refuerzos que llegaron para este 2018, en el cual tuvieron gran rendimiento jugadores como Arbey Mosquera, Esteban Ruiz, Daniel Padilla, entre otros. El equipo «Asegurador» viajara a territorio nacional para la preparación de cara a la Liga Águila 2018- I.
