Junior y Nacional no se sacaron diferencias en el Metropolitano.

Tercer empate consecutivo de Nacional en la fase decisiva de la Liga Águila-I 2016, aunque este tal vez más importante que los dos anteriores. En un vibrante encuentro, Junior y Atlético Nacional empataron 1-1 en el primer partido de semifinales del torneo local y de esta manera dejaron todo el suspenso para el partido de vuelta del sábado en el Atanasio Girardot.

Fu un juego muy intenso y atractivo, de ida y vuelta y opciones para los dos equipos que gracias a sus porteros salieron vivos de este encuentro. Nacional inició mejor y fue superior en el primer tiempo, esa superioridad la supieron traducir en ventaja al minuto 18 cuando Andrés Ibargüen hizo una gran jugada por izquierda para luego centrar el balón por lo bajo para que Daniel Bocanegra entrara a definir y marcar el 1-0 parcial. Si Junior se salvó de irse aún más abajo en el marcador al final del primer tiempo fue sin duda gracias a su portero Sebastián Viera y también por imprecisiones de los visitantes a la hora de definir.

El partido terminó con la sensación de que Nacional tuvo para salir victorioso del Metropolitano y perdonó, dejando a Junior con vida y permitiéndole reaccionar para empatar y casi llevarse el partido. Al final, todo acabó en empate, el segundo y definitivo capitulo de la serie se llevará a cabo el sábado 11 de Junio, y aquí en Saque de Meta tendremos todo el cubrimiento de un partido que promete emociones.
