El presidente del Junior esperó a Alexis Mendoza en la practica del miércoles.

La polémica en el Junior sigue sin parar. En el entrenamiento del día de hoy, el máximo accionista y presidente del club, Fuad Char asistió con el fin de esperar la llegada de Alexis Mendoza, cosa que finalmente no se dio porque el técnico renunció el día de ayer, pero Char se quedó esperando porque según él, Mendoza no ha presentado la renuncia de manera oficial, razón por la que para el presidente, debió asistir al entrenamiento.

«La renuncia de Alexis Mendoza nos tomó por sorpresa. Esperábamos que viniera al entrenamiento a despedirse de los jugadores y tener la oportunidad de convencerlo, ya que no ha presentado la renuncia oficialmente».

El portero uruguayo y uno de los ídolos del Junior en los últimos años, Sebastián Viera también declaró que esperaba ver a Alexis en la práctica de hoy. Los que si estuvieron fueron Carlos Araújo y Alex Acosta, su asistente y preparador físico.

Todavía, según Char, no se han barajado nombres para su reemplazo, pero se espera que realicen esta labor lo más pronto posible, ya que se encuentran en plena disputa de torneos internacionales, además de la Copa Sudamericana que estará próxima a empezar. Por ahora, para el partido del sábado el entrenador que dirigirá al equipo será Victor Pacheco.
