Hace una semana el máximo dirigente del club bogotáno, Enrique Camacho, dio declaraciones en donde declaraba que se venía una nueva sede deportiva debido al proyecto económico que se venía organizando desde hace un buen tiempo.

Hoy el diario portugués Record anunciaba la llegada de Antonio Carraça a la dirección general de Millonarios y que en los próximos días, el dirigente firmará un contrato que lo unirá al club.

«António, de 58 años, será el principal responsable del enlace entre el equipo y la directiva, encabezada por el presidente Enrique Camacho Matamoros (…) Tendrá amplias responsabilidades, como coordinar la formación y dirigir el centro de entrenamientos que Millonarios está construyendo», informa el diario.

Antonio como nuevo director general tendrá un papel menor que el de Camacho, pero eso no significa que no sea de importancia, pues el CEO de un equipo asume los trabajos diarios del club en lo que se refiere a responsabilidades del área deportiva tales como: la confección del equipo, las decisiones tácticas o el entrenamiento; también el capital humano y más recursos que interesan a los entrenadores y jugadores del equipo.

Vale la pena resaltar que este personaje portugués trabajo con uno de los equipos más importantes de la liga de ese país como lo es el Benfica. Y en la temporada 2012/2013 dejo de ser el director general de las Águilas de Portugal.
