EN EL DUELO DE IDA DE LOS OCTAVOS DE FINAL DE LA COPA ÁGUILA, LOS EMBAJADORES LOGRARON UN TRIUNFO POR 2-0 QUE LOS DEJARÁ CON UNA VENTAJA CONSIDERABLE DE CARA AL DUELO DE VUELTA EN TUNJA

Millonarios rompió la mala racha que lo había acompañado en los últimos duelos de la liga hoy, cuando se topó con Boyacá Chicó en el partido de ida de los octavos de final de la Copa Águila. El entrenador de la escuadra, Miguel Ángel Russo, optó por rotar un poco la nómina y brindarle descanso a jugadores como Ayron Del Valle, Cristian Marrugo, Omar Bertel y Felipe Banguero, los cuales habían sido titulares en Liga y Sudamericana.

Asimismo, el técnico argentino perdió a una pieza clave como lo es John Duque, quien sufrió una sobrecarga en el abductor y está en duda para el clásico del sábado con el América en el Pascual Guerrero. Jair Palacios y Juan Camilo Salazar anotaron en los minutos iniciales del encuentro, ambos goles se gestaron por la banda derecha. Roberto Ovelar y Gabriel Hauche intentaron, pero no fue suficiente para dejar un tanto en la portería de los boyacenses.

Por otra parte, a pesar del 2-0 Millos continua demostrando un error y es la falta de efectividad. Sus delanteros contaron con suficientes opciones para sentenciar una goleada y guardar la serie, pero no aprovecharon todas sus alternativas frente a un contrincante que dejó poco en la cancha.

Ahora nuevamente será para los embajadores tener la mente puesta en la Liga, certamen donde aún no alcanza un pico alto y donde además tendrá un duelo importante este sábado, cuando se mida en uno de los clásicos del fútbol colombiano al América de Cali en el estadio Pascual Guerrero.
