A la selección española le quedará difícil ganar la Eurocopa según las declaraciones dadas por Casillas.

El arquero actual del club español, Iker Casillas, lleva más de una década defendiendo la portería de su país, y gracias a esto ha adquirido suficiente experiencia para conocer tanto las debilidades y fortalezas d su equipo. En las últimas declaraciones dadas por el guardameta, él asegura que  “Es difícil que España pueda conseguir su tercera Eurocopa consecutiva. Los equipos han ido creciendo y variando con ese cambio generacional que en todas las selecciones hay”, estas palabras no quieren decir que “La roja” no tenga jugadores buenos sino que los equipos actuales se han fortalecido y se convirtieron en rivales más fuertes.

Otra cosa que resalta Casillas es que después de ganar la Eurocopa en 2008, el equipo se llenó de emoción y empezó a desarrollarse aún mejor, pero con el paso del tiempo el club ha ido cambiando y los jugadores antiguos buscan contagiar de esa alegría a los nuevos futbolistas españoles.

República Checa, Turquía y Croacia no le dejaran el camino fácil al equipo español, el cual busca conseguir su tercera Eurocopa tras consagrarse campeón en 2008 y 2012, y además ser el ganador del mundial en 2010.
