Jaguares confirmó su estadía en los ocho de la tabla, mientras Cortuluá sigue sin sumar y se mantiene en las últimas posiciones.

Con el encuentro entre Jaguares y Cortuluá, se dio inicio a la jornada 13 de la Liga Águila.

El partido inició con un gol tempranero, tras una falta discutida de Carabalí sobre el jugador Eder Steer al minuto 2 dentro del área, el central decretó penal, posteriormente el jugador Darwin López anotó y puso en ventaja al conjunto de Jaguares 1-0. El juego se vio interrumpido por las constantes faltas cometidas por ambas escuadras. Al minuto 24′, el goleador Feiver Mercado remató con pierna izquierda a todo el ángulo exigiendo al arquero local y por fortuna, conseguir el descuento para igualar la serie.

Al minuto 25′, el árbitro determinó un minuto y medio de hidratación a raíz de la alta temperatura.

Posteriormente se reanudo el encuentro, y el conjunto de Jaguares produjo su primer cambio, ingresó Andrés Arboleda por Carlos Castillo. Al minuto 35′ Julián Millán cometió una falta, el jugador Juan José Mezú cobró el tiro libre pasando el balón muy cerca del palo izquierdo del guardameta Caffa. Seguidamente, el equipo ‘corazón’ se acercó en varias ocasiones al arco rival comprometiendo a Wílder Mosquera pero sin concretar alguna acción. Finalmente se adicionaron cuatro minutos y la primera etapa concluyó con el marcador 1-1.

En el segundo tiempo, la primera aproximación de peligro fue para Cortuluá, tras un fuerte remate de Mercado que oportunamente logró desviar el arquero. Al minuto 55, tras una sucesión de pases se generó un centro para que el jugador Eder Steer concretará la acción y poner nuevamente a Jaguares arriba en el marcador. Las acciones de peligro fueron divididas a lo largo del encuentro entre ambas escuadras. Los dirigidos por Jaime de la Pava, generaron opciones por medio de las bandas y provocando centros, mientras Jaguares mantuvo una buena tenencia de balón pero falto contundencia. El compromiso terminó con el marcador 2-1 a favor del equipo local.

Jaguares suma 22 puntos y en la próxima fecha visitará a Tigres FC en la ciudad de Bogotá, mientras Cortuluá acumula tan solo 11 puntos y espera a América en la siguiente jornada.
