Los galeses siguen dando sorpresa, esta vez le ganaron a Bélgica y se clasificaron a «semis» de la Eurocopa.

El equipo de Gales sigue haciendo historia, tras no haber podido estar en una instancia final de un campeonato importante por hace más de 50 años, este año dieron la sorpresa y han llegado a la semifinal de la Eurocopa de Francia 2016. El partido lo empezó ganando el equipo de Bélgica con un gol del centrocampista Nainggolan de media distancia, lo cual despertó a los galeses y empezaron a llegar al área defendido por Curtois quién atajó un balón en el minuto 25 que pudo haber sido el empate. La igualdad llegó al minuto 30 gracias a un cabezazo del capitán galés Ashley Williams.

Al empezar el segundo tiempo el equipo de Bélgica tuvo dos opciones claras para rematar el partido pero no las pudieron concretar. En el minuto 55 el delantero de Gales, Hal Robson Kanu, anotó el segundo para su selección tras un pase de Ramsey. El partido lo sentenció el jugador Sam Vokes al minuto 85 y ahí todo fue alegría para los galeses.
