SCHWEINSTEIGER Y ROBBIE KEANE SE DESPIDIERON DE SU SELECCIÓN DE MANERA EMOTIVA Y FANTÁSTICA.

Ayer para tristeza de algunos aficionados que quizás recuerden aquellas grandes selecciones europeas de los 2000 hacia nuestros años, han dicho adiós dos grandísimos jugadores de Alemania e Irlanda respectivamente, que aprovechando la fecha FIFA de estos días dieron punto final a dos carreras prolíficas en sus selecciones nacionales, además de dejar un gran legado para los que esperan enfundarse la camiseta de su seleccionado.

Schweinsteiger, quien actualmente está en el Manchester United, tuvo su despedida en el triunfo 2-0 de Alemania frente a Finlandia en un duelo disputado en Monchengladbach, donde Schweni, como lo apodaban algunos disputó 68 minutos y luego, tras ser ovacionado fue reemplazado por Weigl, en una despedida emotiva, más en el inicio cuando el volante, quien jugó 121 encuentros y anotó 24 goles con «die mannschaft» rompió en llanto sabiendo que sería la última vez que portaría dicha camiseta.

Robbie Keane por su parte no fue ajeno a la emotividad, cuando en el AVIVA Stadium lo ovacionaron al ser reemplazado en el minuto 57, donde su equipo terminó ganándole por 4-0 a Omán. Keane siempre será recordado por su entrega a la selección y por ser además del jugador con más encuentros disputados (146) el que más goles hizo con la camiseta de los irlandeses con la que anotó 68 goles.

El alemán (campeón del mundo en 2014) por el momento seguirá en el United, donde espera cambiar de alguna forma el punto de vista de Mourinho sobre él, recordando que no lo tendrá en cuenta y lo tiene entrenando en la sub-21 del club, mientras que Keane continuará con su travesía en la MLS con el Galaxy, donde comparte equipo con Steven Gerrard y compite ante otros históricos goleadores como David Villa y Didier Drogba.
