El defensa colombiano, Cristian Zapata renovó su contrato con el Milan hasta el 30 de Junio de 2019.

 

Actualmente Zapata se encuentra compitiendo la copa América centenario con su selección, con la que marcó el primer gol en la inauguración del certamen, el club «rossonero» mediante un comunicado en su página web informó que el contrato del colombiano había sido renovado con el Milan italiano hasta el 30 de junio de 2019, dos años más del tiempo que se tenía estipulado, pues su contrato terminaba en 2017.

El cafetero llegó al Milan en 2012 procedente del Villarreal, y con el club «rossonero» disputó 89 partidos y marcó 3 goles. En la última temporada se convirtió en uno de los titulares de su equipo jugando la final de la Copa italiana, en la cual la Juventus derrotó al Milan

Milan también renovó el contrato de Jherson Vergara hasta 2019. El también Colombiano de 22 años, jugó las últimas dos temporadas cedido en el Avellino y el Livorno pero todo apunta a que realizará la pretemporada del próximo julio con el primer equipo del Milan.
