El argentino es de los primeros nombres que salen a la luz en Barranquilla.

Luego de la inesperada salida de Alexis Mendoza de la dirección técnica del Junior, el dilema de hoy en día en Barranquilla es acerca de quien será el reemplazante de Mendoza. Han pasado solo unas pocas horas del suceso, por lo que todavía no hay casi ni rumores de posibles sustitutos, por más que los necesiten con urgencia. Ante todo esto por ahora solo ha salido un nombre: Gustavo Costas.

El técnico argentino no es nada desconocido en Colombia, ya que dejó huella en su primer paso por el fútbol nacional dándole el último título de liga a Santa Fe, además de una Superliga. Luego de su paso por Santa Fe estuvo en el Átlas de México, en donde fue despedido a mitad del torneo pasado por malos resultados. Desde ese momento se encuentra sin equipo por lo que eso ya sería un buen primer paso para su llegada al cuadro tiburón.

Por ahora es solo un nombre que saltó al aire, como repetimos, la situación todavía está muy fresca pero en el entorno Juniorista no se pueden dar el lujo de perder el tiempo, hay que buscar un nuevo técnico cuanto antes, y Costas es un entrenador con toda la experiencia necesaria para asumir las riendas del equipo. Solo el tiempo dirá si hay posibilidades de que llegue de nuevo a Colombia o no, ya que también ha sido pretendido por la Selección Paraguaya en reemplazo de su compatriota Ramón Díaz.
