La Selección Colombia, dirigida por el Profesor José Nestor Pekerman, visitará mañana a la Selección Argentina por la fecha 12 de las Eliminatorias para el Mundial Rusia 2018 a las 6:30 de la tarde en el estadio Bicentenario de San Juan.

El conjunto Colombiano se enfrentará ante una Argentina debilitada. En los últimos tres partidos, los argentinos han podido sacar tan solo un punto contra Perú. En los otros dos juegos, los «Gauchos» cayeron en condición de local ante Paraguay y de visitante ante la Selección de Brasil, por marcador de 3 – 0.

Por su parte, Colombia no viene con mejores resultados a este encuentro; pues en los últimos tres partidos, se han conseguido cinco puntos. Dos empates en condición de local ante Chile y Uruguay, y una victoria visitando a Paraguay.

Argentina llega al partido contra Colombia muy dolido tras su último partido jugado. Colombia llega al juego, con dudas en su planteamiento táctico, y muchas dudas en su juego colectivo, pero con mayores expectativas. Argentina por su parte, sabe que tiene la obligación se conseguir un resultado favorable, pues si no lo consigue, su clasificación al mundial se pondría en duda.

El Profesor Pekerman, nunca le ha podido ganar a Argentina como técnico de la Selección Colombia, es más; hace nueve años, el Seleccionado colombiano no le gana a Argentina un partido oficial. La última victoria para Colombia fue en el año 2007 rumbo al Mundial Sudáfrica 2010 por marcador de 2 -1 en condición de local en el Estadio Nemesio Camacho el Campín.

En los últimos cinco juegos de Colombia ante Argentina, los «Gauchos» han conseguido tres victorias y dos empates se han dado entre los dos conjuntos.

Colombia no contará mañana con los centrales Yerry Mina, quién viene con muy buen presente en el fútbol brasilero, por lesión, ni con Oscar Murillo por acumulación de tarjetas amarillas. Pero la mejor noticia para Colombia, es que Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, vuelve tras sanción, para hacer parte del medio campo cafetero.

Se espera que la «Tricolor» consiga un gran resultado, que le permita acercarse cada vez más al Mundial Rusia 2018.
