Los malos resultados de los últimos torneos han obligado al club a tomar esta medida.

En una medida desesperada y que se ve muy pocas veces en el mundo del fútbol mundial, el club Xolos de Tijuana, dirigido por el ex técnico de la Selección de México Miguel Herrera, declaró como transferibles a todos los 25 jugadores que integran el plantel del club Rojinegro, entre ellos a los futbolistas colombianos Dayro Moreno (quien disputará la Copa América), Juan David Pérez y Leiton Jimenez.

«El Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente informa que todos los elementos del primer equipo Rojinegro estarán transferibles durante el próximo Régimen de Transferencias del futbol mexicano«, se lee en el comunicado, en el cual también se informa que los jugadores se deben presentar a la pretemporada el 6 de junio y habrá 2 encuentros amistosos frente a Santos Laguna el 24 y Cruz Azul el 29 del mismo mes.

Esto se debe a los malos resultados cosechados en el último torneo, en donde terminaron en la decimotercera posición en la fase del todos contra todos y se quedaron lejos de ingresar a la Liguilla de 8 equipos que deciden al campeón, un sistema idéntico al que se maneja en el fútbol colombiano.

Esta noticia no les cae muy bien a nuestros jugadores cafeteros que se encuentran en el club, pero sí a los distintos clubes que quieran negociar para tenerlos en su equipo, ya que Tijuana no pondrá ningún tipo de resistencia a los posibles acuerdos que se puedan realizar. Por el lado de Dayro Moreno, ya se ha podido saber que se podría dar su regreso al fútbol colombiano, ya que lo querrian clubes como Nacional, Millonarios (de donde salió para México) y el club de sus amores, Once Caldas (recordemos que antes de partir con la selección estuvo entrenándose un tiempo en el cuadro Matecaña). Aunque también hay rumores de que puede ser comprado por el América de México, que se dice también tiene interés en contar con el jugador cafetero.

Mientras que ya hay intereses en contar con Dayro, quien es el máximo goleador histórico del club en primera división, con 38 goles, el futuro de Jimenez y Pérez estaría todavía en el aire. Pérez podría volver al Junior de Barranquilla, mientras que Jimenez podría también regresar al club que lo vio nacer, el DIM.
