Carlos Ruiz hizo historia anoche cuando en un partido válido por las Eliminatorias de CONCACAF anotó nada más y nada menos que 5 goles que lo consolidaron como el máximo anotador mundial en las Eliminatorias.

Ruiz llegó con esos 5 goles a 39 en las Eliminatorias y superó al iraní Ali Daei que quedó con 35 goles (recordando que se retiró en 2007). Además fue un encuentro especial para el guatemalteco debido a que era su despedida de esta selección y logró su segundo «repoker» como internacional.
