Santa Fe inició ganando, pero no supo mantener la ventaja y perdió 2-1 contra Junior.

Desde el comienzo se sabía que era -por nombres- el partido más atractivo de la fecha, y no decepcionó brindándonos grandes emociones. Junior hizo respetar su casa y le remontó a Santa Fe, que estuvo muy cerca de llevarse por lo menos un punto a casa.

Si el partido hubiera terminado en empate no tendríamos ninguna duda de escoger como figura a Leandro Castellanos. El hoy capitán de Santa Fe, además de atajarle un penal a los 5 minutos del primer tiempo a Luis Narvaez, fue clave en varios momentos del partido, donde estuvo firme cada vez que fue exigido por los tiburones, evitando que Santa Fe se fuera con más goles en contra. Otro punto para destacar de Santa Fe fueron Kevin Salazar, quien sigue demostrando su calidad con el cuadro albirrojo y Jontahan Gomez, quién marcó el gol de Santa Fe por la via del penal en el primer tiempo. Llamó la atención que Alexis García decidiera jugar sin un 9 definido, cosa que casi le sale, con Salazar, Gomez y en ocasiones Perlaza haciendo de falso 9.

Junior, si bien no dominó claramente en la primera parte pese a tener el balón más tiempo, en la segunda si fue así y además de no permitirle a Santa Fe llegar con claridad, consumó la remontada mediante Jarlan Barrera, quien marcó un gran gol de media distancia, y los últimos minutos con Ovelar, quien por fin logró vulnerar a Castellanos después de varios intentos en todo el partido.

El cuadro cardenal quedó así con 6 puntos y lastimosamente no consiguió más que aumentar el malestar de los hinchas con el cuerpo técnico, mientras que Junior llega así a 4 puntos, recordando que tiene dos partidos menos que el resto.
