La novela no termina. River se enfrenta a la salida de su portero, capitán y referente Marcelo Barovero, y desde hace tiempo se viene especulando con la llegada de Franco Armani para reemplazarlo. Pese a que el presidente de Nacional, Juan Carlos De La Cuesta, haya declarado que Franco es intransferible; pese a que el mismo arquero haya dicho que se quiere quedar, y pese a que el «Muñeco» Gallardo haya dicho que el titular ahora va a ser el juvenil Augusto Batalla, desde Argentina aseguran que el club de Nuñez por fin hizo una oferta formal a pedido de Gallardo para contar con los servicios de Armani.

Y es que el portero argentino es la principal prioridad en lo que a refuerzos se refiere para el Millonario, y tal parece, las negociaciones van por buen camino. Según declaraciones de su representante Martín Aráoz, “River hizo una oferta formal, ya lo sabe Franco (Armani) y estamos contentos porque siempre dijimos que era un lindo desafío para el jugador poder vestir la camiseta de River. Está encaminado”. La oferta de los de la banda cruzada sería de 1.2 MDD pero se tiene el temor de que esta oferta no sea suficiente para Nacional, que tiene tasada su clausula de recisión en 2.5 MDD.

Eso sí, la única manera en la que todo esto se concrete sería dejando que Armani se quede para disputar las semifinales y una eventual final de la Copa Libertadores, ya que de ninguna manera ni el club ni el jugador permitirán la salida hacia Nuñez antes de estos compromisos.
