Los dos grandes amigos en Barcelona, hoy serán rivales en la cancha.

Brasil recibe al equipo del «patón» Bauza que tiene como gran novedad el retorno de Messi a la selección tras quedar marginado por lesión ante Perú y Paraguay en la fecha anterior de las eliminatorias. El mundo del fútbol centra sus ojos en este partido, una de sus razones es el enfrentamiento entre Neymar Jr y Lionel Messi, los dos estrellas «culés» comandarán el ataque de sus selecciones. La historia dice que estos dos «cracks» han tenido cuatro duelos, tres por selección y uno en la final del mundial de clubes entre el Barça y el Santos en 2011, con un saldo de tres victorias para «Leo» y tan solo una para «Ney». Como dato curioso esta será la primera vez que disputan un partido oficial vistiendo los colores de sus países, ya que los anteriores juegos fueron amistosos.

ARGENTINA NO GANA, NI GUSTA

La albiceleste no ha conocido el triunfo en sus últimos tres encuentros por eliminatoria ya que empató con Venezuela y Perú y perdió ante Paraguay en su último partido. El lateral de la «vecchia signora» usará el dorsal número 4 en honor al fallecido Carlos Alberto Torres, quien fue campeón en el mundial de México 1970, el resto del equipo portará una cinta negro en señal de luto y se guardará un minuto de silencio antes de dar inicio al encuentro.
