Deportivo Cali perdió en la segunda fecha de la Liga Águila-II, ante Deportes Tolima y para este compromiso, el técnico Mario Alberto Yepes cambió un poco la nómina con la que le ganó a Cortuluá. En rueda de prensa, el estratega ‘azucarero’ habló sobre esto y destacó el trabajo de sus jugadores.

Para el timonel, su equipo mostró varias cosas buenas de las que habían trabajado, resaltó que todavia les falta, pero que esto recien empieza y que los jugadores tiene que alcanzar su punto físico para dar el cien por ciento. De igual forma, manifestó que el partido se definió en detalles y que no le gusta hablar de los árbitros.

«Tuvimos opciones claras de gol, Tolima también. Creo que el partido se definió en detalles, donde  los protagonistas hacen la diferencia», expresó Yepes.

Acerca de la rotación del equipo, el orientador ‘azucarero’ contó que Sebastián Pérez y otros muchachos no estuvieron en el compromiso debido a que el equipo debe afrontar tres compromismos en la semana y que la única manera que conocer el nivel de los jugadores es dandoles la oportunidad de jugar, de ese modo, se sabe en que momento se necesita cada jugador.
