Finalizó una parte de la fase de grupos de la UEFA Champions League. Ocho emocionantes partidos se llevaron a cabo.

En primer lugar, Arsenal FC visitó a FC Basel de Suiza. El conjunto de los «Gunners» goleó 4 – 1 a los suizos. El primer gol llegó muy temprano; sobre el minuto 7, Alexist Sánchez le hace un excelente pase a Lucas Pérez y se abría el marcador. Ocho minutos después, Lucas Pérez volvía a anotar y el Arsenal se iba arriba en el marcador 2 – 0.

En el segundo tiempo, Muy temprano, Arsenal marcaba su tercer gol de la tarde; Lucas Pérez volcía a anotar al término de una excelente noche. Minutos después, al 53, Alexis le mete un balón profundo a Ozil, y el alemán abilitaba a Iwobi el cual marcaría el 4 – 0 para Arsenal. El gol de FC Basel llegó al minuto 78, anotación de Doumbia.

En otro juego importante, Paris Saint Gemain empató 2 – 2 contra Ludogorest. Los goles Parisinos  fueron marcados por Édinson Cavani al minuto 61 de chilena, y Ángel Di María al minuto 90 + 3. Por su parte, las anotaciones de Ludogorest fueron obra de Virgil Misidjan al minuto 15 y Wanderson al minuto 69.

Por otra parte, FC Barcelona recibía a Borussia Monchengladbach en el Estadio Camp Nou. Los catalanes se impusieron 4 – 0 ante los alemanes, un resultado concreto que justificaba el primer lugar del grupo. Los goles azulgranas vinieron de los pies de Lionel Messi sobre el minuto 16, y un triplete de Arda Turam; los goles del turco llegaron a los minutos 50, 53 y 67.

Bayern de Munich recibió a Atlético de Madrid, actual Sub – Campeón de la Champions, en el estadio Allianz Arena. Los dirigidos por Carlo Ancelotti se impusieron 1 – 0 ante los colchoneros con  GOL de Robert Lewandowski en el minuto 28. El Atlético quedó primero del grupo  D con 15 puntos, por su parte, Bayern finalizó segundo con 12 unidades.

En Inglaterra, Manchester City recibía a Celtic. El conjunto inglés, en una pobre presentación, empató 1 – 1 ante los escoceses. El gol de los escoceses llegó muy temprano, al minuto 5 se abría el marcador con anotación de Roberts. Por su parte, el único gol de los «ciudadanos» llegó tres minutos después, sobre el octavo, gracias a Iheanacho.

Por último, en los últimos dos partidos de Champions el día de hoy, PSV de Holanda empató sin goles ante Rostov de Rusia. Por otro lado Dimano de Moscó goleo 6 – 0 a Besiktas de Turquía.
