EN EL MARCO DEL ENCUENTRO QUE JUGARÁN EL PASTO Y MILLONARIOS EN HORAS DE LA NOCHE, SDM RECUERDA ALGUNOS JUGADORES QUE VISTIERON AMBAS CAMISETAS Y QUE, HOY DÍA, MILITAN EN ALGUNO DE LOS DOS EQUIPOS.

Son cvarios los nombres de buenos jugadores que han tenido la oportunidad de jugar, tanto en el conjunto nariñense, así como en el equipo «Embajador» . Casos como Carlos Rendón, Carmelo Valencia, Martín Perezlindo, Ricardo Ciciliano, Orlando «Fantasma» Ballesteros, Wilson «Pájaro» Carpintero, Milton Patiño, Nelson Ramos, entre otros, han podido vestir ambas camisetas.

Aunque, más recientemente, hay otros jugadores, quienes hoy día juegan, bien sea en el Pasto o Millonarios, que jugaron en alguno de los dos clubes y que, inclusive, podrían jugar en este encuentro. Por ello, SDM hace un recuento de dichos nombres:

Este portentoso delantero, que ha tenido incluso experiencia en el exterior, jugó en primera medida en el elenco bogotano, más precisamente en el año 2012, donde no tuvo un inicio de semestre muy exitoso, jugando 12 partidos y anotando 2 goles. Pero la reivindicación llegaría en el segundo semestre para él, donde disputó 21 encuentros en Liga, anotando 8 goles, además de ser el autor del empate en la final ante el DIM, que a la postre, significó el título 14 para Millonarios. En Copa disputó 7 partidos y anotó un tanto, mientras en la Sudamericana jugó 9 partidos, haciendo 4 goles, ayudando a que Millonarios llegara a la semifinal de dicho torneo.

Con el Pasto, donde llegó para este 2017, proveniente del Real Garcilaso de Perú, ha logrado jugar 11 partidos, donde ha cosechado un gol en la temporada.

Hoy día viste la camiseta del cuadro «Embajador», donde llegó en el segundo semestre del 2016, proveniente del América de Cali. Pero, previo a su travesía con los caleños, tuvo pasos por el Tolima, Alianza Petrolera, Medellín y antes, en el 2012, con el Deportivo Pasto, donde jugó un total de 19 partidos (12 por Liga y 7 por Copa) consiguiendo 3 goles en el certamen liguero (incluso anotándole un tanto a Millonarios), además de 2 goles en la Copa Colombia. Además, fue subcampeón con los «Volcánicos» del Apertura 2012, al igual que la Copa Colombia de dicho año.

Con Millonarios ha tenido un destacable rendimiento, donde ha podido disputar 35 partidos, anotando 14 goles y siendo el máximo anotador de la Liga Águila II del año anterior, con 12 anotaciones.

Experimentado mediocampista, originario de Cali, quien ha estado en ambas instituciones. Entre el 2014 y el 2015 estuvo vistiendo el azul de Millonarios, donde consiguió jugar 29 partidos, entre Liga, Copa y Sudamericana, anotando dos goles entre ese tiempo. Pasó sin pena ni gloria por el cuadro bogotano.

En la actualidad se encuentra jugando con la camiseta del Deportivo Pasto, donde llegó para este año, proveniente del elenco chileno del Colo-Colo. Ha disputado 6 encuentros, todos correspondientes a la Liga, sin anotar goles.

Este veterano del fútbol colombiano, recordando que hoy cuenta con 36 años, también tuvo un breve paso por Millonarios, el cual se dio en el año 2003, compartiendo equipo con algunos destacados nombres como Héctor Búrguez, Belmer Aguilar, Roller Cambindo, Bonner Mosquera, Julián Téllez, entre otros jugadores importantes. En el plantel capitalino estuvo toda la temporada 2003, donde no logró anotar goles, llegando hasta los cuadrangulares finales, tanto en el Apertura como en el Clausura de dicha campaña, pero, posteriormente, se marchó al Deportes Tolima para el 2004.

Al cuadro que dirige Flabio Torres, se concretó su llegada también a comienzos del 2017, proveniente del Bucaramanga, donde tuvo al propio Torres como entrenador y, hasta el momento, ha jugado 11 encuentros, siendo de los que más ha estado presente en la temporada, sin anotar goles por el momento.
