La Equidad no logró encontrarse de nuevo con la victoria

El conjunto ‘asegurador’ sumó su segunda derrota consecutiva en la presente temporada.

La primera parte del encuentro fue muy intensa, con varias ocasiones claras para ambos conjuntos. El equipo visitante inició con una importante posesión del balón y con una propuesta ofensiva constante; al minuto 13 un disparo al larguero del capitán Stalin Motta dio el primer aviso para el conjunto aurinegro.

Minutos después, el conjunto petrolero respondía con un remate de Alex Castro al 22′ y tres minutos después intentaba de nuevo con un disparo de Estefano Arango, pero en ambas ocasiones intervino el golero, Diego Novoa, que mantenía su arco en ceros.

El encuentro continúo con ocasiones poco peligrosas para ambos equipos, pero en el minuto 44 Amaury Torralvo tuvo la oportunidad de adelantar a los dirigidos por Arturo Boyacá luego de un gran pase de Stalin Motta, pero la ocasión fue desperdiciada al definir por encima del arco. Posteriormente se dio fin a la primera parte.

Recién iniciada la segunda parte, al minuto 47, el conjunto local abrió el marcador con una pelota cruzada realizada por Carlos Lizarazo en un contraataque que tomó por sorpresa la defensa aseguradora. Al minuto 61, en busca de la igualdad, Amaury Torralvo anotaba un gol que sería anulado por fuera de juego.

El conjunto capitalino en los siguientes minutos intentaba la igualdad con diversas ocasiones pero ninguna concretada satisfactoriamente, el juego estaba más a favor del conjunto asegurador y la igualdad se veía venir en cuestión de tiempo, sin embargo, al minuto 80 el cuadro petrolero aumentaría la ventaja por medio de un cobro desde los doce pasos convertido por Cesar Arias, un cobro fuerte al centro de la portería dejando sin posibilidad alguna al portero asegurador.

El equipo visitante intentaba acortar diferencias pero el tiempo transcurría y se complicaba el partido. Al minuto 87, un tiro libre a favor de La Equidad era probablemente la última oportunidad para descontar, el cobro fue realizado por el portero Diego Novoa, pero el tiro salió desviado por encima de la portería defendida por Ricardo Jerez.

Tres minutos de adición fueron agregados por el juez central, Carlos Betancur, los cuales no fueron suficientes para el conjunto capitalino, el pitazo final fue dado al minuto 93 de juego, y los tres puntos los obtenía el conjunto dirigido por Jorge Luis Bernal, obteniendo así su tercera victoria consecutiva y logrando la tercera posición en la tabla de la Liga Águila 2017-I.

La Equidad se encontró con su segunda derrota en el torneo, la falta de efectividad en el conjunto capitalino ha fallado en los últimos encuentros y se espera que haya un cambio para la siguiente jornada cuando reciba en casa a Atlético Nacional el próximo sábado 25 de Febrero a las 7:45 pm. Por parte del conjunto petrolero, buscarán seguir con la racha positiva en su visita a Montería, frente a Jaguares el domingo 26 de febrero a las 3:15 pm.
