Los «Aseguradores» se enfrentan esta noche por la 7ma fecha a Boyaca Chico, recomponer el camino que lo deje en los ocho
El equipo liderado por el estratega Luis Fernando Suarez no ha tenido una campaña favorable, que lo ubican en la casilla 17 con apenas 6 puntos de 18 posibles, los «Aseguradores» tienen la obligación de buscar los tres puntos hoy, luego de la dura derrota el pasado sábado con Atletico Huila por 3-1.
Hoy en la noche el equipo de la mayoría recibe al último de la tabla con el objetivo de conseguir tres puntos, que le permitan acercarse a los puestos privilegiados de la tabla de posiciones, ya que se encuentran a tan solo 2 puntos del grupo de los ocho.
Por otro lado Boyaca Chico ha sido el único equipo que no conoce la victoria en el torneo, se encuentra en la última posición de la tabla general y la del descenso, por lo que el partido se considera de “seis puntos”. Los de la ciudad de Tunja empataron en su ultima presentación frente a Once Caldas por un marcador de 2 por 2.

Estos equipos se han enfrentado en 30 oportunidades desde febrero del 2007. Todos los encuentros fueron disputados en primera división, de los cuales doce fueron triunfos para Equidad, sobre los ocho de Chicó, que ha logrado más victorias en Tunja (7) que en Bogotá (1). Los empates se han firmado diez veces.
El último enfrentamiento entre estos equipos se dió en el torneo finalizacion 2016 terminó con victoria para Boyaca Chico por 2 goles a 1 con anotaciones de Mateo Riascos en dos oportunidades y el descuento por parte de los «Aseguradores» de Carlos Peralta.
