Se enfrentaron por la fecha 2 del Grupo B en la Copa América Centenario

Resultado final: Ecuador 2-2 Perú

Partido muy emocionante en todos los aspectos.

El primer tiempo fue propiedad de una Selección Peruana muy superior que en tan solo 15 minutos se puso dos goles por encima, con completo merecimiento y muy buena calidad de juego, lo que se vio reflejado a lo largo de casi todos los primeros 45 minutos.

Al final del primer tiempo Ecuador volvió a la vida con un gol de Valencia.

Nada mas comenzar la segunda mitad, la Selección Ecuatoriana marcó el gol del empate.

Durante todo el segundo tiempo los dos equipos tuvieron oportunidades para llevarse la victoria, pero ninguno consiguió marcar el gol que le diera los tres puntos.
