El defensor bogotano no entrenó este martes con Club Atlético River Plate y es transferido al FC Basilea por 3,5 millones de euros.

Luego de 3 títulos y 83 partidos jugados, se definió el futuro de Éder Álvarez Balanta, quien seguirá su carrera en el actual campeón de la liga suiza y equipo el cual jugará la próxima edición de la UEFA Champions League.

Hace pocos minutos se hizo su presentación oficial en las instalaciones del equipo suizo en el que piensa tener un desempeño óptimo como lo tuvo con su anterior equipo en Argentina. La transferencia fue un éxito y el colombiano firmó un contrato por 4 temporadas y el 80% de sus derechos deportivos serán para el equipo de la ciudad de Basilea.
